At DesignScapes, we plan your garden according to a thorough design process, beginning with a landscape consultation, implementing design and installation, and continuing with a lasting relationship. Initial Consultation

The first step in creating your new landscape, whether it involves new plantings or the renovation of an existing landscape design. During this consultation, we'll tour your property and discuss your needs, lifestyle, personal preference and intended use of the area. This landscape consultation is necessary for our designers to develop a custom landscape plan. 

Site Analysis

DesignScapes will rely on information obtained in the consultation, as well as the site analysis, in the design process. Key elements we consider include orientation of site drainage, landscape views, soil conditions, house architecture and pre-existing landscape elements.

Landscape Plan

Your landscape plan will be drawn to scale and will show the house in relation to property lines, all existing and proposed landscape elements, and other features such as walks, decks, walls and patios. The plan will indicate specific plant names, with their respective sizes and quantities.

Installation

Upon completion of your design, the DesignScapes installation team will assist you in implementing the plan. Before beginning work, you may choose to have the entire plan installed at once or executed in several phases. Our professional, experienced installation team takes pride in providing our clients with superior results. In addition to the installation team, our landscape designer will be on-site to oversee the process and answer any questions you may have.

After landscape installation, your relationship with DesignScapes is not over. We provide you with instructions for the care of your plants, and our landscaping team will perform maintenance services as requested.
